does travel weariness effect hunger?

it seems as im getting hungrier faster due to my intense travel weariness.. any relation?

No. Being injured increases your hunger, though.

I could be wrong but I think what Onionfighter means is that having missing SHP puts a drain on your hunger (just like having low stamina). I've certainly never noticed missing HHP making it much worse, but then I rarely have more than 10% or so missing.

i have been down to 2 or 4 hhp one to many times and in the short times between terror and horror on my face i recall that hunger was not being drained faster then it is now

its just the fact your current health has to be restored takes up a massive amount of hunger till its done

In theory? Yes. In practice? Also yes.

During all the hunger shenanigans of the last whenever-it-was about the only time I did eat was after a leech-fest.

According to the Wiki, that is indeed what chairs are for. With the caveat that it's not regenerating stamina so much as it is increasing the speed of the hunger:stamina conversion ratio.
