lol

the only thing stupid about my questions was the fact that people actually exist with a level of comprehension so low that they manage to make a complete fool of themself on 6 of 7.

as for you mr pumpkinhead feel free to come and just like totally kick my ass all over the place and stuff, ill be the guy making a bonfire out of your cropfield.

Haha, what a rude Twat.

1> You'll need to party up and from there you have two options. One of you can walk/boat to the other or if you own a village or are near one willing to help, your friend can destroy his hearthfire and party with the Lawspeaker or Chieftan of the village. They then need to invite him into the village and he can warp to the village claim.

2> Survival has a softcap of 200, as in there's no point in going over this. Define veteran and what alt they're using and I can tell you what they'll have.

3> Depends on the village, their equipment, and their enemy. If you're smart you won't need more than 150-200 in any combat skill. If you're friendly, you won't ever need a combat skill. Since you're neither, you should shoot for 200+.

4> This is absolutely terrible gain and I feel so sorry for you. Enjoy grinding forever.

5> Last wipe was 4 or 5 months ago and there are no words or plans for one in the future. Loftar has commented on this recently noting that he and Jorb have set nothing in stone or even tentatively yet.

6> Open towns get raided so anywhere worth living is sealed off. The bulk of players are in the central grids and population density thins out the further towards the edges you get.

7> Everyone gets this because of the recent surge in players. Server upgrades will come when Loftar and Jorb can afford them. =)

well that explains both the airheaded nature of your post as well as the need to insert your nose where it doesn't belong because someone was being "mean" to another.

tell you what if you look good naked i will simply give you a spanking for your insolence.

thanks for the response.

2> what would the stats for an average pvp character have? what about ranger?

4> how terrible is it? and since i do it while im afk and it still outweighs things like "making baskets" and most of the ideas in the various "grinding points guide" threads that i have seen what is a faster way?

6> is there a method other than exploring to find out where you are or what grid you are in? i started in the wilderness as i figured starting near the various towns would of been a poor place to learn the basics of the game.

2. no serious pvp character is going to post their stats publicly. however i will say that unless you can get high quality weapons, armor and thane rings, you really have no shot of being in the top tier for pvp. you can trade for these items but at your current level of development you will be putting in a shit ton of work to get them.

3. lol at 1 lp/sec. thats really a piss poor gain. try actually playing the game. build some houses and boats and shit.

4. to get anything out of the game early on you need to explore. you need clay and crops and these won't just show up at your camp while you are running a dig macro. try finding a village and asking them where you are located. or you can pm me with a hearth secret and i can give you an idea of what grid you are in at least.

I'd say that ~500 is a competitive combat skill level right now, but it keeps rising every day. There are some people with a lot more, though, so you best hope you don't pick a fight with them.

For LP, macros aren't all that great. One hour of active hunting will get you more LP than leaving a macro on all day. So yeah, go out and hunt. Farming is also great LP, and can actually beat hunting when you get your crops to high levels (300+, I'd reckon).

Darwoth, the fastest way for SBGuys to grief people is to just put your non afk time into deforestation, then cutting the logs up into boards then the boards into buckets or something, or just chop trees and move on.

Grind up those skill points, buy combat skills and survival skills.
Stay fed.
Get a boat.

Travel and plunder.

Clear cutting is the fastest way I've found for semi afk skill. Chop n go

105 per tree atm and it gets higher I think. Dont even know how but it used to be 60.

Once you get Tresspassing and the PvP skill etc, you can raid, plunder destroy and eventually kill people.

Some people are foolish enough to settle near water, and make themselves nice targets.

I'm only a few days in this game but I've got a full blown settlement going thanks to various unprotected neighbours :D
