Good hunting strategy?

Buy a HQ sling, get marksmanship to a decent 100ish level, and get some perception gear and food.
Martial slider at +1 or +2, you can kill anything in a single hit, except bears.
You just gotta combo shot bears while they run. Like a boss.

It's never too late to start marksmanship. I was at maybe 100ish melee before switching over. SUCK IT UP.

Pretty much the best bet here.

I'm not Martial but instead still full peaceful (call me crazy), waiting it out to be able to get q380+ slings so that I don't have to be martial in order to 1hko boars and everything below it.


Occults are great for that PERC (lowering chance of NOT 1hkoing) until you get I think it's... 350+ PER, after that point you don't need any more PERC against animals.
