Can you protect yourself against this bug if you village claim an entire island? or is it possible to stuff the intervening water with boats?

What about... wait for it... two wall layers and the space between them filled with constructions signs? That would make it pretty hard to jump over that unless you're willing to put the same amount of constructions signs outside.

That is no different from just extending your claim the same size. You basically even do the work for the attacker by already filing some space he could otherwise have warped in to. A huge village claim is the best defense against wall jumping (and a regular check of your walls of course).

Village claim the island and they won't be able to wall jump, ever. You'll still have to worry about rams if you made a non-jorb fistable fort though but that is easy to patrol.

Anyways can we snip this stuff to hel and get back to discussing with actual mechanics? :(

-=puts monocles back on=-

Anyways. I think we reiterated on how to prevent getting wall jumped (aside from having ice wall and trampoline wall). Basically make a village, extend the claim so wall jumping is impractical. But what I highly recommend is getting a brick wall since there are a lot of palisade bashers out there these days.

So what counters the brick wall? Rams, brick bashers (only a tiny few), and the anvil god.

Village claims counter everything.

Village claim counters decay now at least which is a big plus. However a poorly placed village claim won't do much and it certainly won't save you if you are pretty much careless with your security.
