To get rid of treetrunks, I think you need either a saw or a stone axe. forget which one...
Travel Weariness goes up when you teleport to hearth fire a bunch.
It doesn't really matter until you find and make villages
Click on the right lay-down stuff icon in the menu. You're clicking "lay gold"
