Completely cleaned out...Hacked or something?

I didnt have any items on me except one seedbag.

It is possible, (though it is getting more rare) that there was a rollback, and your cabin reverted to a previous state. If you lost stuff from inside and outside your cabin, and also stuff from your character, then I would suspect foul play. What client are you guys using? Are you in the same village? Have you shared your password or login with anyone? have you logged in while on a public network or public computer?

I only play on my computer at home. I don't give my passwords to anyone. This doesn't look like a rollback, my character had nothing left in his inventory.

Turtleshot, I've heard about items being duped/deleted after a rollback. I've personally haven't had the misfortune of this happening to me, but I have had friends who lost pearl equipment and jewelry this way before.

Likewise I've heard about this happening to boats, and I've also heard that missing boats from a rollback can sometimes be found in a location that the owner was at throughout the day.

I'm using the standard client, always on my home computer. Don't share my passwords with anyone
I doubt it was a rollback due to the slaughtered animals. Goddam it.

Possibly someone with high int/stealth. You should hire a ranger.

You said the gates were open, can you still close them with the key? Or were they knocked down?
