If you haven't already, make sure to check the sticky posts in this part of the forum. Another good source of information is the wikia. It is a user based wiki of info so a few information may be incorrect (animal HP for example) but people try to edit it with correct information.

In this game, there isn't exactly what you call money you can sell but goods that you can barter to other people (well coins exist but they are more or less pointless for the most part). Look in Apples for Oranges for. Keep in mind that you either need to be near their location to trade or have a mean to reach the agreed trade hub Constantinople.

You will notice in this game, EVERYTHING is playermade, from trade goods, to villages, to large cities, to armies. Even politics.

Despite what a lot of people here say, you will need a claim sooner or later as many people consider anything that is not on a claim is fair game and free for grabs. Even then you will find some people that simply steal your things anyhow. After claiming your land, you may want to wall it off with a palisade with a gate. Later on you can consider making a village even if it is just for yourself as there are certain bonuses that comes with it.
If you keep focusing on the shadow behind, you will not see the light in front of you.

Being successful isn't just about hard work and succeeding, it is also about picking yourself up when you fail.

so, I just got killed by somebody, this game really needs some sort of spawn detection, so am i correct in assuming I have to start all over again? how do I recover my old items which were left on my corpse, it says taking them would be stealing...
