the thing you saw is an ent, see the forum place ring of brodgar => ent sightings... or something like that

btw, hasaosan is sort of a troll, half of the time, sometimes he behaves.

he is a bit right, if you search for example green and hair on the forum you find this creature. The biggest difference with him and you is that you honestly ask what is this and he mostly reacts as if anything we havnt told him, or what he misread, is a personal insult, so dont pay too much atention to him

From there you can make a search for anything that you have question in the wiki search engine.

The creature you saw there is a dryad though there is no official name so it is debatable by self. Currently it serves little purpose other than allowing you to follow it at run speed with low stamina.

Toads supposedly does not have purpose but they can be targeted like normal creatures in combat. They are also sometimes required to be sacrificed if you are trying to gain numen points.

sorry if im breaking any rules... iv done searches and cant find anything if its beyond google, i cant find anything using searches... also i didnt make a dryad / ent sighting thread... it was just cool and i thought id post it up in the same thread iv been posting in instead of making another thread? after all i didnt think there would be any harm made posting any questions i might have all with in one thread instead of everywhere...

most of you seem fairly nice and understanding, with of course a couple exceptions.. but thats in any forum community i suppose.

sorry if im offending anyone by trying to learn the game by the only two means i seem to be able to accomplish.

Thanks again to those who will help and have helped. ill try harder by looking further into the forums and wiki.

although i will still post any problems i may encounter here if its not too much harm and i cannot find what im looking for else where.
