Hm, q of blocks matters? Didn't realise that... I asked 5 persons all said it doesnt, only q of wrough, coal & cruicible matters...

I'm filing it with blocks of wood, I guess should try to fill them with higher ones :(

Fuel always mattered, it's the coal that didn't, but that was changed when temp q was removed.

Darn, than i can be happy with q100+ steel made with q10 blocks :s

while we're talking about steel, a question. does anyone know exactly how the q of crucible is calced, in relation to brick and cast quality?

Not 100% sure but after eXtreme testing it seems to be ( brickQ + castQ)/2

No animals or metals were hurt in this testing.
