Cave Mining

I just managed to dig inside a cave wall for the first time. I had to venture very far in the cave tho, and had to cross to shallow water parts twice and 1 deep water part to finnaly reach a good spot. When I return back to my hearth fire I will most likely not find this spot again My strenght is 17.

yes, yes it does

from what i've observed though, guys,

each rock requires a different amount of strength in order to mine it, from being 'The rock is just slightly too hard' to being 'You cannot scratch the rock'

there could be different ores depending on strength, i don't know for sure though.

i believe prospecting is a shortcut but it is not required

from all the different sentences you get trying to mine i would say:

cavewalls have a kind of soak. so you need more (sqrt)str for some walls, but pickaxe gives an "attack"bonus
