Okay. So I got up to 26str and I still can't hurt the hearthfire. Could the number be wrong?

It's more most likely, i have 42 str with an axe, and it took 2 stam bars' worth to kill it.

Okay.. grinding to 42str just to combat trolls is a bit excessive. Does anyone have any other ideas?

I have base 16 str, but i have a bear tooth tali, and a bear cape. that's +26 right there. Go kill some win.

So realistically I need to either grind my strength or somehow have some of the game's hardest items to get in order to protect against trolls/griefers?

Welp, the problem got worse. They are now idling the naked dudes in front of my cave so I can't get the ore for a pickaxe.

It takes roughly 10 minutes to kill a HF at str 28.. and there are ~20 of them left. This is screwed up.

Send them to cerberus and the river styx, if you get my meaning.

Swim through a sea of murder.

Let the river run red... WAIT, not that one...

Well, correction. They're SUPPOSED to be hard to get, but they really aren't.

Hey guys, one of the "Greifers" here. I find it funny how I found this topic after looking around for what happiness even effects on your character, but I digress. Your so called "victim" here didn't tell you the full story about how we left his claim in the first place because he was a complete Nazi about every little thing we did, even though we weren't directly on the claim or even that close to it in either. So we left to about a mini-map away to start our own. Of course this angered him because we weren't doing his work for him any longer while all he did was bark orders and mess around in the cave (which mind you at the time he didn't even have a mine in the cave to gather from) Being new players and all we only had a small claim, enough to cover our field and our store house, but not our living house, tanning beds, boats, ect. So this guy decided it was completely okay to steal what ever wasn't able to fit on the claim and break what either couldn't be stolen or he didn't want.

By this point the game clearly get a lot less motivation to play, we had about 3 days of work completely toss down the drain just because we wouldn't do someone else's work for them. Hell we even tried negotiating, we agreed to move and in return that he gives back what he stolen and a few materials to get started on our new land, but of course this wasn't good enough for him. Since he ruined the game for us, we are only paying him back.
