Where should I invest my LP?

This is just asking for opinion, as I am still uncertain about this shit...
These skill values-base attributes are confusing me.

I spend something like 4kLP on MM.
Deciding against that now. No MM; I would rather spend the LP elsewhere. As I have the rustroot, and want to go after strength for mining(thanks Sarge), and thus go after melee and become a soldier.
I have 30k LP.
1. How should I spend this?

On Melee (I should have weapons soon)? On Unarmed? Combo of both?
Or maybe Carpentry to help me grind buckets?
Or Survival to help with butchering animals?

2.(Please confirm this?)Or Exploration, so it brings my perception up and will help me with Prospecting?

I would appreciate any tips.
