I'm not sure this is correct, however I will try it. Reason I tend to disagree is that when world 4 started and configured my farm section after settling it has remained the same. During the first week and half my section consited of ALL crops except poppys (Which I still cannot find after 200+ www). My crops are very small with only wheat, hemp, flax and grapes being more than 3x3. So in total I would say maybe 200 tiles tops has a crop on it. This small area was covered by 5 hives. In the first week and half I harvested approx 15 pieces of wax. Then boom, it all stopped. With no change in either the amont of crops or the number of hives. Nothing. In the last 2 weeks there hasn't been 1 single piece of wax harvested form the sames hives over the same amount of crops. However, to try your suggestion I removed all hives but 2 at either end of the field, so everything is covered but only barely overlapping. Still no wax since yesterday. But will see if your theory holds. We'll see.

Yeah, sorry about that, I didn't notice the "any wax" at first. I'm really used to the old ways

I get like 1 wax a day, and only from the beehive near my wheat.
Same for honey

They probably added this because of how you build mines now (requiring hardened leather).
