You need to spend some time exploring how stuff works. What happens if you right click something while lifting an object. The awesomeness of the shift and ctrl keys. Why swimming is useful. Seriously the forums aren't a goddamn kindergarten for you to come "I started playing 5 minutes ago and I dont know how to light a fire". That's what the wikia is for.

Cheers.

You misunderstood me, I am saying for a new player what to ask is not obvious as the controls are not obvious. If they know 'the leanto has an inventory that you can place liftable objects into' then they know what to search for. If they want to 'put a bed in the leanto' and can't it's not as obvious.

I know these things I'm advocating for patience for people who don't. It's definitely not intuitive.

The controls are quite simple. Left click move, right click interact. You interact with the leanto and see it has two slots, just like boats and carts that you might have come across if you spawned on a populated area. And even if you didn't, it is intuitive. The game's basics are based on experimenting and testing.

I'm not saying the info on the wikia is perfect. But I'm against it becoming a "left click, right click, move cursor, open inventory" paragraph which in some articles has already happened (sort of).

However you're free to add in whatever info you wish. I'm noone to limit what you think is enough info and what isn't. I myself think at least a day of experimenting and searching is required before you come across something worth asking on the forums.

ctrl-clicking to get out of a boat is probably the most unintuitive thing ever.

Sure people who have played the game for months have obviously gotten used to everything and it all seems natural, but for new people the controls and overall interaction process of this game is absolutely daunting.
