In other words, there's no reason to use charcoal for anything other than forges and smelting, as branches are more efficient for everything else.


with turning boards into charcoal u can get a lot higherQ charcoal than you can get branches. So for anything that has Q, charcoal >> branches.

You can use boards as fuel too. So charcoal is only better if your kiln is better than your planks.
