Even if it's not claimed I don't bother looting it. Generally speaking they worked for it and deserve to keep it, even if it was a bit stupid for them to not have a claim for personal goods.

Also, you run the risk of it being a honeypot and that would suck really bad.

Think Pooh Bear. It's kinda childish, but proves the point. (He gets stuck in pots of honey often). If you could do that with H&H bears, that would be AWESOME.
