There are literal hundreds of these tiny claims all over the place, guarding caves that were "interesting" but will never be revisited due to inactivity, not caring, or forgetting about them. At no point should resources be limited because of a stick with some bones on it. If you want something and you're smart, you can take it without repercussions. If they were serious about guarding this cave, the Least they could have done would be to put a palisade around it and even that is bare minimum. All the claim does is make it super obvious and keep newbies who don't have trespassing out.

No, Rausk, it's not.

And I agree complete with Teck on this... Personal claims should be given something similar to the Authority from Village claims, that replenishes when the char recieves LP. That way some alt can't sit their and horde a spot for an unlimited time just because he put up a stick and some bones.

People should be able to quit the game (to deal with real life circumstances) for an indiscriminate amount of time and be able to at least return to something of what they once had. There's already a system for the removal of personal claims that is relatively painless as long as you're willing enough to get rid of it.

Meh, not even necessary. It really doesn't protect anything from anyone. It's a trespass scent to ignore the claim and use the cave for yourself. Oh god! A scent that lasts a few hours and can't be used to summon you and barely can be used to track you. At most, it alerts the guy that someones on his claim. At the worst, you've put walls up and are just annoying him with endless alerts by entering and exiting his claim.

My comment was meant as a more general comment, as I've seen several issues with claims before and have heard of claims being left for weeks at a time with no owner in sight. Example issue would be that earlier my friend lost one of his claims due to him accidently not inheriting from the right ancestor, after which his char died and booted that ancestor out of inheriting choice. His claim is permanently set up with it never being able to be removed save from a village.

And I can understand the "indiscriminate time", hence something like authority which can build up and drain over time. Bigger claim, larger store, etc.
