Bias against people wearing bandit's masks?

i dont know what they're called in english... those headwear things that are for use against extreme cold and are very popular with criminals cause they conceal your whole face (holes for eyes and mouth, usually black). Walk with one of those in the street and see how fast you get stopped by a police officer or security guy or just a 'concerned citizen'

then try saying its a fashion statement

I have not taken off my bandits mask since I got it in the first week of this world. If anyone attacks you for wearing one then they are foolish and most likely just jealous of how cool you look.

Well, being harder to memorize the Bandits Mask's function, and hardly any reason for wanting that except when raiding/attacking/ grieffing, my natural assumption is that you are up to some shit.
Think of a creeper's hug, they might have good intentions, but people will still avoid them.

I kinda want to wear a bandit's mask because (a) it looks cool and (b) I don't have anything more practical for that slot yet anyways and (c) I want people to know quickly I have good per*exp. Do you think there are people out there who would attack me on sight for this fashion statement?
