It was counter intuitive to how the rest of the game works. Never seen base node qualities rise before. You have my apologies.

Dont worry, with STR200 lvl 3 is unmineable for me... resp. I drink whole bucket for dig out 3 stones. LVL 10 will base on STR 1500+ I guess

Wait, all the effort I'm putting in building my lvl3 mine are worthless ? I knew STR requirements went up, but THAT much ? OO

TeckXKnight, y u talk bout stuff u not know about ><

Well 3rd level still does not mean the q will raise linear all the way. And I agree with TeckXKnights fear that even high STR may not be that blocking for some comunitties to build up an pure mining ALT with tremendous STR and gain unlimited acess to q 100 ore.

BTW I have found 49q node in lvl 1, so I am surely not going to dig 5 lvls of mines to get a point better :)

Well, when playing the smartass as I did, you better be correct :D

As for the "risk" of base quality rising, I don't know. Those who are able to afford 10 mineholes and high enough STR mining char are most likely big cities who knows what they're doing. So, unless you're one of those, you are already far behind in the run for quality anyway.

Plus mining straight down for 10 layers involve a lot of luck to find ore easily. Most likely you'll have to dig around a lot to start finding ore. Only a matter of time though, but the effort needed make it seems like a reasonable and "balanced" feature.

Affording 10 mineholes aint the problem, the strength is, and possibly the trolls.

Level 1 troll hits a naked for 500 damage.

Troll = F E A R

Hope they do not know how to climb ladders. Offtopic, just to bump it here :)

The basic quality level rises indeed by 10 for each layer. Aside from that there are higher q nodes that seem to be randomly distributed.

I have confimation of q70 ore nodes on layer 1, I am not sure though wether you can get like q200 nodes on layer 10. I doubt it though tbh.

For the str you need to mine, don't forget to take pickaxe q into account. It is possible to easily mine layer 3 with 100 str and a good pickaxe, even layer 4 is. The speed will still be quite hight as well then.
