Yeeah, im new to using the forum so i dont really understand were everything goes and what not, but ill remember in the future

Do you play with anyone else?

If so when you find a bear, ONE of you agro it from boat, while the other sneaks around and makes sign posts (A then F) - Fire works well and put 1 branch in the signpost. Make sure that player has some distance and can at least take the first hit from a bear so they can run to shallows/boat if things go wrong.

Remember only fence from the sides to behind, they will break signposts if they are in the way and not agro'd on you.

wait so if someone aggros it from a boat, you can fence it in and UA it to death from behind without it aggroing you?

Bears are easy if you're noob with a sling. Just sling rocks at'em from a boat. Make sure you got a crate or 2 full of stones on your boat so you can refill. Just shoot rocks at it until it runs. When it does run, get off your boat and wait beside your boat. Make sure you right click the boat before hand so you can avast right away as soon as you see the bear return. If it returns and it stays there, sling rocks til it dies or runs away again, Repeat procedures til it dies and get 18k lp
