What I meant was, normally, if you are playing at the same time every day, you have the same bit of the game day, because of the 8 hour cycle. But when the server crashes everything stops. So if it's normally dawn at 18:00 where you are, and one day the server crashes for two hours, then it will be the middle of the night at 18:00 after that.
So if this person is only allowed his one hour of internet time at the same time every day, he will always be playing at the same time in the game-day, until the server crashes.
