Reported many times, perhaps. But in generally just as single cases without any definite data to confirm or explain this behavior it in my view.
Considering there are also reports of the opposite effect ... I think its still a more or less open question.
(Considering players are in general more likely to report bad cases than good cases ... there is a little more to it than just counting reports to be absolute sure.

The main reason for that "do not overlap beehive range" in that topic was targeted at the potential down-side effects if can/will have on the Quality of the produced honey and wax. Not the Quantity.
