Like Spoonfish said the quality doesn't lower from well use, So it's handy if you have a decent quality well and need to spam a ton of barrels for miners, cooking... ect

For what it's worth this isn't the intended function and should be changed sometime. The advantage of having a well is HAVING ACCESS TO WATER.

Do you have a source or is this an assumption? There are many things that appear to be bugs but are actually working as intended. (See: corkscrew mining, tanning tubs in carts, etc)

I dunno, I know sab posted a thread about it last world. I don't think there's been any official word from the devs but I can't imagine that it's working as intended. Having infinite access to high q resources (which are often used as trade material) seems kind of game breaking.

I see no reason why wells should function any different than a regular water source, but maybe I'm wrong.

High quality wells are much more rare, needing to secure the well AND anywhere the node intersects a river or lake, and taking much longer to gather water makes up for it IMO.

What do you guys think about making the quality of the well structure modify the water quality ?

if it modifies "up" the quality, i have no objections.
but if it is meant to modify "down" the quality (as in capping), id love to say no.
leave the 3 main natural resources, clay, soil, and water, easily obtainable for new players with luck as they are now. (still have to fight and defend for it anyways)
