you're doing everything wrong. Grind your intelligance to at least 50 first. Than occupy every studing slot you have with item. When you have 100int+ you can ever plug in some crappy curiosities like tusks. Watch youself making 200k+ a day playing just 2 hours per day. Grind your brozne, iron, leather and wood quality and see yourself making ever more.

There are rangers who help people who has been raided. Do they care about justice? Hell, no. They just hide their blood thirst behind white clothes.

some people just cant stop grinding or cant stop thinking of the most effective methods to grind.
they cant enjoy a game without grinding cause grinding is the only way to have fun for them.
and they are so proud of grinding or the stats they get through grinding...
on the other hand, some believe they are doing something wrong cause they are not grinding.
how awfully sad.

What in this game isn't effected by the quality?

Yes.

Min/Maxing your attention and curiosity usage is vital to getting out of the early stages quickly and entering reasonable growth levels of lp. Don't use crafted curiosities as they are just far inferior to foraged curiosities. Get your exploration, perception, survival, and intelligence up. Raid Swamps for great curiosities, find flotsam, eat every blue berry you can get your hands on, and raid every ant hill you can find. Exploration and Survival are vital.

Blueberry Pie and Perch. Get your cheese production going and start consuming Musty Milben! If you can't fish for the life of you, then just eat blueberries. Stop complaining that you'll never have enough of them and just go looking for them, they're ridiculously common and it only takes a dozen or so to get an int point even if you're not diversifying your diet for maximizing FEPs.

I have no idea what you just said. Therefore the answer is forage for curiosities while you're bringing up your intelligence. Establish a safe home here you can store excess curiosities. You don't have excess curiosities you say? Spend 2 minutes in a swamp or marsh and you'll need a few cupboards. You can get your exploration up as you go so you can keep finding better curiosities.

I prefer Emmentaler and later of course Jorbo.

I think he was referring to Tonkyhonks post there.

And @Tonkyhonk: Some people just enjoy it the most in a game to use the system with maximum eficiency, also called power gamers I guess. I am among those people and get the most fun out of a game when I am winning or at least trying my best to win. Might be a little tougher to define what winning is in H&H than for other games. LP and quality are the indicators that are easiest to measure. I prefer to think in terms of power and influence for H&H, because politics are fun :P

i know what you mean, burgingham. i know im just fussing over some rhetorics here.

even if what you all are doing are more or less the same, your "power" is the result of your creative plays and ideas of how to be more efficient and cooperation with friends, to me, if im not mistaken, but once it is handed down like this calling others "wrong", it turns into just another cheap manual for some kids, for the purpose of merely grinding which also encourages botting in my eyes. they just copy-cat what others tell them to do, and they think doing what others tell them to do exactly is fun.

i do admire those who are willing to share their insights with everyone, i am not going to say i never read guides and i often do indeed for my convenience. there is nothing wrong i see in there.

but, the way some ppl ask or reply "how to grind" and label others "wrong" saddens me very much.
many of those are the copy-catting non-creative players who have to call others noobs for not grinding the way they do and have to degrade other players playstyles when they are only "copying" what others tell them to do, and they still believe they are so "kewl" that they should look down on others.

many ppl have asked J&L for "less grinding" and they made this new system, and then, now ppl are already asking for methods of "grinding", and i find it very irritating.

i guess i just hate the word "grind". and players who talk as if grinding is all about playing games make me feel much older than i really am.
