This is correct. Everything else stated in this thread is wrong and a lie.

This is also true. The method is usually to trap the entire herd and to utilize Leadership (Call down the Thunder), Warrior Spirit (Sting like a Bee), and Brawling (Sidestep) to bring the animal to the appropriate levels to be tamed. Just leave a corner opening so you can reach them and only use Sidestep and Sting like a bee after the animal has twitched and failed to re-path. This way it will not attack you and other animals won't either. Needless to say, you also need rope and animal husbandry.

Oops. It was not my intent to mislead by giving incorrect information. I must have accidentally healed myself with leeches at some point. Or possibly been eaten by something, it was a while ago.

Im not sure if it is possible with that low hhp, but use leeches. Though be cautious, they do shp damage.

If he does not even have First Aid then I doubt he will have those maneuvers available. ;)

No you don't. You gain Max HP. Those are two separate things. The only way to heal HHP is via leeches or gauze.

CON food does heal you, so eat pumpkin flesh, ant pupae, and bark bread.
