No, it's 30% at low stats, but gets progressively worse as your bar length increases.

Anyway, I don't edit the Wiki because I'd just get frustrated with people changing it to be wrong :P

been reading the wiki and it says my silk filaments are softcapped by the cube root of my sewing*farming*dex, so that means i need how much of each to make q20 silk? =/

extracting filaments is sqrt(psy*farming), I think? Turning that silk into things is sqrt(psy*sewing), so if you do the math, the square root of 20*20 is 20! So 20 in each of those.

I'm fairly certain that it's psy whenever you deal with silk though someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Keep in mind, lots of people add wrong information to the wiki (including myself, when I miscalculated the lp on a curiosity =( ) and edit in information to be wrong too.

reading up on archery it says that my effective skill is the lowest of my iemm of my bow, my arrows and my marksman?

so if i'm using a q10 sling, have a marksman of 40, i'm aiming/firing as if i have a marksman skill of 20? D:

like if i have a quality 10 b12 will i still do 500 dmg? (if i have a strength also of 10 )

yeppers, you betcha. Q10 wep + Q10 strength is base damage. So you'll deal 500 at Q10 everything. Q23 wep and strength you deal 750 dmg, Q40 wep and strength you deal 1000 damage. I believe the damage formula for weapons is: DMG = WepBaseDMG * ( sqrt( sqrt(WepQ*STR) / 10 ) )

what about aiming with archery?

like if i have a ranger bow of q20 and a marksman of 300 i'll aim like i have 20 marksman?

Actually, 60. Bows have an IEMM, according to the wiki, and this number isn't listed anywhere in game. Bows have 2, and ranger's bows have 4. That means that ql*2=max effective skill. A ranger's bow q20 can support lvl 80 marks. According to the wiki. Ammo has the same effect, and it's 2 for ammo, so a q50 ranger's bow firing q10 stone arrows, will have an aiming speed of lvl 20.
