Not a very good tutorial

I will mention an in game push towards the wiki could be nice...or at least a sticky at the top of this section telling you to look at the wiki first if you have a question. I have found it myself and think I am doing alright for a newbie but I had done lots of trying to find the answer and the forums before I discovered the wiki existed which would have made things a lot easier.

the game is alpha, and there is no in-game tutorial. the wiki is also made and run by players and is not officially endorsed. everything you need to know to get started is stickied in the how do i forum.
