I'm more wary of people in newb clothes, actually, as those are often scouting alts of raiders.

If you're really leaving the area, and a long ways away from the area, don't worry about leaving a few trespassing scents from crossing a claim over water. They can't summon you with them, only track you down, and when they find you're so far away, they'll just forget about you.

Besides, anyone with a personal claim over water is likely to get all kinds of trespassing scents every day from people boating over it.

hmm? i dont think just boating over claims dont leave any scents though, unless you pick up some forageables out of water or setting a foot on land or something :?: :?: :?:
