Zigzag mining is safe to do in short distances. I got this far with zigzags before a cave in.



I later did more zigzag mining north and got KOed.

You have to do the corkscrew pattern. 3 forwards, 3 up, 3 forwards, 3 down. (if that makes sense). You cant zig zag like how u are.

I've been searching the forums. And what i cant figure out is why?

apparently the thought process is that you mine in such a way that you don't mine next to tile that already has been mined or something like that, right? But then why did the OP's simple zig zag not work? what properties of his pattern are different from the common corkscrew pattern?


I believe this is what the OP is really trying to ask.
