Faster Way of Filling Tanning Tubs?

The only way I've found to ease this clickfest and keep myself safe is to use a cart and four barrels with a paved area on a lake. Rivers allow people to hide on the other side and snipe, but a lake allows you to see someone coming.

You mean you don't have trees and rocks hidden all the time? Wow. You must have a death wish.

If you don't care about water quality, build the tubs on the shore and then fill them from there and port back to where you want them at.

Or near a well just circle a well with them and it becomes a quick process and is safer then building them shore side.

Thats exactly what I'm doing now, it just takes forever to fill 100L with a 10L bucket,from a slow-ass well

Don't fill them full, just 'full enough' to process leather. You then only have to fill them up that much when you're done. It's still a lot of work, though.

We need a bigger container than 'bucket' like a 'cask' that's 4x4 and holds 40L. Heck, just make it 30L. It'll go in your inventory and can even sit on the ground without disappearing. Or, for convenience, turn the wine rack into something that would hold the casks (it would hold 2 or 4 casks) and you could dispense directly from that. In fact, you could store wine in it like a barrel and it wouldn't turn to vinegar (or take 4x longer than a wine barrel).

Has this been suggested? I've not searched yet... off to do that now!!
