Oh I thought a jump was one of the map grid squares. I'm still figuring out the terminology.

The contents of that other thread went right over my head. Obviously tempers were high, but I don't know enough about general mining practices to make a judgment of who's right or wrong.

But... Aok came to where I was killed within an hour after I posted this thread. He tracked the guy quite a ways but was unable to get the guy since he was behind a palisade and brick wall. He also invited me to join his village which was nearby, and gave me some gear, tools, etc. to help me rebuild.

As a general rule I try to ignore forum drama. People's emotions get involved over things they'd ordinarily not care in the slightest about. Some of the most friendly players I have known in (other) MMOs have not been above a little forum baiting.

In game, Aok was friendly and helpful to a newb he had no reason to care about. So I have no problem with him.

He will be nice with you a few weeks then when you actually have "something" to lose he will kill you for the lulz.
I could be wrong but why take the risk with someone who is such a dick ?.My advice is you are better alone or with someone is not like him , just my opinion do whatever you want .
