How much strength is needed to hearthbash?

You can just watch the hourglass to determine how much damage you do.
Try to bash a hearthfire with bare hands with 36 strength and see how many ticks you take off per stamina bar. Repeat that with 35 strength.

to deplete a stam bar to 30% means you hi a hf 35 times, 10 stam bars means i hit it 350 times

350 x0.14 = 49 damage. i will do another 20 stam bars. if after 147 "damage" the bar still has not moved i am going to call bullshit to anyone who says damage is not per damage base.

I read through this thread again and I have no idea what saphire is talking about.

I don't think he understands how "soak" values work.

It seemed to be that he was suggesting that the game didn't round damage. Therefore you can should be able to bash a hearthfire by hand with 26 strength. It would just be a lengthier process than if you used a tool, which adds damage to the sum. While I find this unlikely, it wouldn't hurt to see if it holds any merit if someone else was willing to do the work.

no it does not. damage IS rounded. unless you deplete 50 stam bars or more while between where you do 0 and 1 damage you have no right to say i am wrong anymore.

The first tick should have been taken off after the third stamina bar at 10 strength if damage was not rounded down.
Just saying, in case anyone actually planned to try more than 50 stamina bars.
