If you know what you're doing, you can melee kill a boar at 90 UA, and strength doesn't really matter--agility does.

Eh? 90 UA is overkill, if you really know what you're doing you can kill a boar with 55UA.

40 UA for fox, 80 for boar.

Umm i killed a fox no problem with just 20 str and 26 UA, its quite simple all you need is flex and bloodlust ( both found in warrio spirt) oken stance (found in Tales by The Herth) and Call Down The Thunder (found in Leadership) waht you would want to do is call down the thunder till you get 6 ip then *Doing this on a boat* then when you get 6 ip turn on oken stance and flex and keep flexin and have oken stance on, then when the foxes attack bar is all the way downa dn your defence is all the way up, turn on bloodlust and flex and then keep flexing till you get a full atack bar punch and repeat till you break the defence and get a hit on it, then dont even bother flexing with bloodlust on just spam punch and punch till A: the fox runs away or B: it dies and if you have a sword its much easer just instead of punching when you break its defence, sting with the sword

Depends on your agility. If you have 10 agility? You're going to need ~35 Unarmed combat to compensate for the fact that he attacks twice for every attack you get off. If you can keep pace with the fox, closer to ~20. The key is to use maneuvers to compensate for his actions. Keep your defense up, build your attack up when you're ready, and always use combat meditation when you have some defense to spare. You'll break the fox in just a couple of punches and Sting to great victory. It helps if you have 10 or so Melee Combat as well, so that your sting is unimpeded by his sliver of defense left over.
