Yeah, I know it's not completely up to date any more, but it does give the idea of how quality is computed in HnH. I don't know about anyone else, but I've been sticking in whatever the softcaps are when I figure them out along with any tool quality I can find, which is usually a bit harder.

I meant that most specifically towards the Jewelry section, my apologies for sounding too broad. It was true in w3 that, to make most jewelry, your only softcaps were stat and skill based (Smithing and Psyche.) However, moving into w4 and w5, this has changed but the formla has not kept up. Jewelry which has no quality modifiers in its other materials will equal the quality of the Gold Beater's Skin unless softcapped by psyche or smithing. Otherwise, I'm not sure how much weight the Gold Beater's Skin has in production of, say, a monocle, which is also capped by the quality of the glass and silk used.
