hmm, the land has no claim on it, just a palisade, but I saw one "green" hf earlier, the same one that took the stuff from our camp. Might be whoever raided the place?
I think I'll just let it go, don't wanna die 8-)

If you can see their HF and it truly is the one that you have scents for, then you can use those scents to summon the perp (left click scent, right click on HF) and use a sling or a bow to slowly kill them.

true, but that will leave her scent for executing on unclaimed land where anyone can pick, right?
if she isnt ready to be attacked later for killing the perp, id recommend her to just let it go, or ask some pros to do it, unless she can find an easy enough way to break the perp's hearthfire.

yeah I will just let it go, I'll try to come back later on tonight and see if maybe the palisade decayed. Honestly I don't even know what they took. I know we are missing stuff just not sure what. But all our curious are still there. Whatever they took must have been something of low value to us or we would've known what it was.

Thank you all for replies. I am glad I was able to track the person down. Really wasn't sure if I was doing it right :D

Whoa. I recognize that fort. As of a few weeks ago, it was owned by some very polite and helpful Polish hearthlings. They lent me a metal plow and taught me some conversational Polish. Before you attack, please let me get in contact with the occupants. I'll ask them what's up. It's possible that this is a misunderstanding.

I should get back to you before the weekend, assuming that real life doesn't get in the way.

Mmmm.. might I suggest next time you are out tracking a thief, you take a little more caution with you, perhaps in the form of a bucket and water? If I was a person living there, and someone was out scouting the place.. I would of picked up agro, ran out side and well... killed you.
You may have foiled the plans of BAD-EVIL this time, but there is no rest for the wicked.

If I was a someone scouting outside I would hop in my boat and scoot away while you fumbled with that gate. It's not that hard to get away from someone as long as you've got relatively quick access to a boat. C'mon now. Also you wouldn't be outside anyway because you quit the game, remember?
