Sweet and simple opinion
Although there is more FEP gain, I believe the time spent could earn more FEP's hunting than you save with the meat. The only exception to this rule is for miners who are being handed food by a village. In that case ask for the roasted meat if you can.
The explanation
Although Teckx's pepper is a good theory for roasted meat, most people rarely use it on anything except cheese due to the difficulty of making it. I certainly wouldn't bother to make it for BBB's, but that's just me. What we're really missing here is quality, so I'll throw up the analysis for that using my meat Q. Do realize that pepper makes the BBB far better if you did want to use it for that, but I'll assume we're not using it for the purpose of this analysis.
Roasted Bear Meat: Q136
Roasted Boar Meat: Q56
Big Bear Banger: Q88 with bear intestines (for comparison, these should really go to cheese making though), Q80 with deer intestines
Actual FEP's given
FEP's from roasted meat
= 2 * ( 3.5 * sqrt(13.6) ) + 2 * ( 2 * sqrt(5.6) )
= 2 * 12.9 + 2 * 4.7
= 35.2
FEP's from BBB (deer guts)
= 10 * sqrt(8.0)
= 28.2
Hunger Per FEP comparison
Roasted meat gives 35.2 FEP's but costs 160 hunger units. That's 4.55 hunger units per FEP
BBB's give 28.2 FEP's but cost 100 hunger units. This one is 3.55 hunger units per FEP
Efficiency = 4.55 / 3.55 = 1.28
Roasted meat requires 28% more hunger drain per FEP eaten
Analysis
BBB's are less efficient FEP wise, but there's a balance of time inputs compared to outputs. If you're a miner with free access to a table and the food is just being handed to you, yes, ask for the roasted meat. But roasted meat actually takes ~x4 as long to cook because you're processing 4 items on the fire instead of 1 item on the grinder. For a Do It Yourself style player, you could probably just go and hunt more boar and bring in FEP's that way for the amount of time it would take to cook and drain the stamina in question.
Also note that the quality of your grinder will make a big difference here. Higher quality grinders make the sausages closer and closer to being equal with roast meat. A very low Q grinder will make sausages less efficient.
