Well I had a thought that it would be nice if there was a spawn point for all new players, turns out there is its a place called peace.. I have no idea what happened to that place but it looks like it got sacked! But if anyone can describe how to use the map... That would be the only thing I need to live

It's just going to take a long time to find yourself on the world map. Explore around until your mini-map (GET ENDER'S) shows a well enough identifiable geographical land mark. Then spend the time on the world map trying to find it!

You could also explore until you find another player(s) and ask them for an approximate or exact location of the world map.

Gold? for children? What is this thing you are describing?

Stores are mostly non-existent. Check the "Apples for Oranges" forum for trading. You might run across an occasional barter stand, but almost nobody uses coins in this game.

There really isn't any form of government other than 'join a village' or 'found a village'.

About the map: if you can find a nearby village (that doesn't look completely decayed), then you might be able to post a request here on the forums and get a reply.

Since nobody else has brought it up, read the "Welcome to HnH" sticky as well as Sevenless' new player guide: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=19114

You need to put a branch in it, not put the cauldron on a fire. Left click a branch in your inventory, then right click the cauldron.

If you right click the cauldron again, you should have a button to lit it. Also clay cauldron take some time before you can use them after being lit (a few minutes).

Edit : I am too slow :p
