fox 25-30
boar 60-75
deer 90-100
bear 250+ and make sure to have a high damage (200+) weapon. The higher the better.

That sounds much too risky for someone who isn't good at the combat system. I'd revise it to 40, 100, 150, 250.

You guys are always so helpfull. With a topic I address several questions. Thanks very much! ;)
Some more questions if possible:
- How often the game update with new content?
- There will be more animals?
- More skills?

Because I think there are only a few animals to hunt... and they need lot of skill to be hunted...

Up to 100 for a boar? Any reason for that? I agree with the rest probably and probably should update my guide accordingly.

It used by be updated fairly often but has slowed down substantially now until matters have been taken care of, either Salem or jorb's moving.

There has been rumors of implementing wolves but loftar doesn't have a good enough AI for that yet. In fact from world 1 to world 3 we had the same animals and only troll was added to world 4.

There has been talk of revising the combat system but that's fairly far in the future so not likely. There may be re-balancing of the current one though (punch and range combat in particular).

Boar is the first time you have to worry about advantage, it can take some time to get the hang of it so better play it safe.

Hmm that is a good point.

I'd put boar in 70-100 and deer in 90-150. They are large ranges but a good weapons, stats and expiernce can sway these number greatly. Bears you should range down unless you wish to taught the lag gods.

Boar range sounds good, but I've been a noob rather more recently than most. Deer if you're uaing them directly, and not using water or anything have quite a few tricks up their sleeve. I got (to my great embarassment) trounced by a deer when I had 200+ UA. >.> I left D/G on too long and it got a hit on me past my def bar. Until you learn to switch stances properly I highly doubt your average clumbsy joe could take down a deer with 90 UA.

I've killed a bear with a q12 sling and 25mm before. Granted, I was in a boat and it took 40 mins, so I guess it's not quite worth that.

I've done this before. You can usually recover from a couple of hits from deer. Boars, on the other hand, actively work to gain advantage. That's why you need the extra UA for a bit of a buffer against lag (or just lack of skill).
