For the record, the game's code of conduct is "might makes right". As far as I know, about the only thing that will get you banned is hacking the server. Alts, trading, alt-trading, alt-farming for torches, killing, lying, stealing, murder, are all, in fact, encouraged. No one is going to get banned for killing a noob, or raiding a village. This isn't a game where stealing a kill is against the rules. If that happens here, then you didn't kill that bear fast enough.

Russians crashing the server. Don't know if that considered hacking cause i dont know how they did it though =p

I thought Jorb said that they were deleting those characters, etc, etc, etc. No idea if it got the players banned, though. Even if they did ban the accounts, nothing is stopping them from making new accounts.

As far as I remember, Runescape currency fell down majorly in value with the arrival of Grand Exchange market system, making the price of high-tier items increase tenfold.
Several other things; If I remember correctly, trade limit for newbie players was 3 000 golden coins, so they would have to compensate in items of -3000 worth in golden coins (they would have to collect 27k worth in items to get your 30k gold for example), which they could easily sell off over Grand Exchange for about the same amount of money they could get from you.
Then there is the possibility of you scamming them completely (the trade itself would be a scam anyway, unless both players have most missions completed and the trade limit increased) and a you ripped off your own villagers, what would stop you from ripping off a complete stranger?

In my opinion, it's just not going to work.
