This is hilarious. You're one of those people who can't not screw up. "They're mad at me because I took their seeds. I was gonna give them back!" If so, why take them at all? Just leave people alone. You don't have to do things just because it's possible. Now you should try and learn from this, and not do so again. Part of the learning process is called "negative reinforcement" - in other words punishment. You have done something undesirable and you will die. Respawn and LEARN not to do it again!

Because scents. Also, if you log out while aggroed your character will stay in the game and just stand there while he gets killed.

They just came here said they want the sword. So I gave them q13 cast bars instead. I said the sword is q10 hoping that it proves this was not the item stolen from them. But they just wanted it no matter what. Now I realised that they are no justice seekers just freaking thieves that lie. Then when they said I left scents I simply logged. I don't even have trespassing nor rage. I guess that they aren't even people from that abandoned base, just some random griefers.

They probably have scents leading to your sword so it's pointing right at you. That's probably why they didn't kill you on sight, they might just think someone sold you the stolen goods.
