I definitely had to use low q gear to reliably catch eel in world 3. Haven't really fished seriously since then, so it might have changed.

Was it only about quality of fishing pole, or other accesories as well?
Would you mind telling what quality of fishing pole you have used for eels?

I think it uses the average quality of all components, but that's just a guess. Anyway, I was using q10 everything.
