I don't recall reading in the other thread, but do they have quality? Since it's a curio, one can assume yes, they do have a quality. Since gold isn't actually figured into any of the crafted items (since gold has no quality), the quality will only matter if it's studied.

It doesn't have a quality. It gives a flat -20,000,000 lp at the moment. That is a negative.

I highly doubt this. Wouldn't be the first rare item you can use for another purpose. The only thing I find odd is the nice, round number instead of a power of two or some seemingly random number like from a bad math equation (like attempting to use a 0 in the equation like it was an actual gold nugget). After all, you can use pearls to study or craft with, ants to eat or study, the strange beetroot to cook or eat or study, etc.

You could study one when you're not at full change. Might be able to get a better idea on the answer to that.
