Are there more caves on mountain?

I've never seen any on mountains, I was pretty sure it wasn't possible

It might have been in previous worlds but with w5 i think he removed the possibility of it happening

in a future update/world maybe there could be mountain caves that are their own level, above layer 1

But I've never seen once during world 3-4 either

I've never seen a cave on a mountain cliff. I'm pretty sure that mountain cliffs are distinct from normal cliffs, so they can't have cave entrances.

So if I read it right, caves did come in mountains - rarely - in world 3 and 4, but not any in world 5?

If I had known this was going to be such an issue at a future date, I would have made screenshots. I saw caves on mountains in both w3 and w4. Unfortunately, the closest mountain to me in w5 is a good 30-45 minutes away by boat.
