What would be the best melee warrior equipment?

So a beginner combar char (like me) should wear :

Forge rings,
Bear cape,
The cuirass, ==> Steel plate
Leather pants (is this better then ranger pants?)
Ranger boots
Soldier helmet ==> Dragon Helmet
Soldier gauntlets
Vapn
Soldier sword or 12axe

Pretty much, Also you can wear both leather pants and ranger, But leather is a must.

Also I've always preferred a bear cape over a helmet, That's unless you have a dragon helm of course
