Now, which one has the bigger horns without knowing the size of the animal?

Damn kids... buy em books, send em to school, and all the try to do is fuck the teachers.

FYI, in case you missed it, of those three, reindeer are the only ones native to Europe. (There are other species I didn't list, but they don't have as large a rack to body ratio as those three species.)

They're not so valuable as to justify a trip out to... god knows where since we have no idea where you are on the map.

Long story short, hearthsecret lets us make a brand new character where your hearthfire is and no one wants to spend 2 hours traveling to you for some deer meat.

this thread just made me laugh so hard I actually cried a little...

if you have hunting and a boat try to find a boar near the shore and shoot it, thats probably the easiest thing you'll get a chance to kill(that can't have its neck wrung easier). of course you'll need a sling and some stones before you try that. also there are no 'meese' in this game, for a list of animals in this game click >here<, the wiki is very helpful for things like that.

Its always bugged me how pigs aren't on that chart and how little information there is about domesticated animals on the wiki. Then again, I've also either never known enough or cared enough to bother adding information about them so I'm not one to talk.

It's a bit off topic, but can anyone explain all the data you get when you inspect a cow?

Why are there twice:
Meat quality
Milk quality
Hide quality?

And how is Breeding quality connected with meat, milk and hide.

And food eaten, I guess it's an average of eaten food. For how long?

And do they eat grass if there is food in trough?

And (the most important now)... how to stop a male calf to impregnate a cow when he turns into a bull?

It's more than a bit off topic. How about starting another thread or, better yet, use search because I'm sure the answers are available already. I'm sure someone else would like to know this information, too. (You can ask a mod to split this off into another thread. Use the [!] button on your post.)

They're not there twice. If you look close, one is quantity, the other is quality. Meat quality/quantity is obvious, same with milk (amount you can get per 24 game hours). Hide is the skin and bones.

Hipponos wrote:And how is Breeding quality connected with meat, milk and hide.

It softcaps the quality of any offspring. Offspring quality is the average of the two parents in each category with a [-5, +20] random range applied.

Hipponos wrote:And food eaten, I guess it's an average of eaten food. For how long?

Over life as far as anyone knows. (I could be wrong here. I don't recall any statements otherwise right off hand.)

Hipponos wrote:And do they eat grass if there is food in trough?

Yes. Grass is considered Q10 I believe. (I've not heard anyone reporting that it is equal to soil quality and not sure if anyone has checked that.)

Hipponos wrote:how to stop a male calf to impregnate a cow when he turns into a bull?

Put it in a separate pen away from the cows. Or just slaughter it.
