Hmmm.... Interesting concept. all i know is that when I build beehives with better qual materials, i get better qual wax and honey and that's no coincidental.

Perhaps it's min q is capped at the q of the beehive??

Galthon is on the right track anyway, I made a a new beehive every few days last world and got Q100+ wax. If I kept the same hive even with the circle full of high Q crops the Q of wax would go down.

The way to test it is to use newbie alts to make fresh beehives on a regular basis and see how much honey and wax quality goes up. If the haves are ALWAYS q10- (q10 blocks, q4 boards, straw < q10 for test purposes), then any gains will clearly point to a "feed history".
