You are lucky, I had to get over 80 Str and a Q30 tool to even touch anything in my cave.

Hi, I'm working on getting my str up to start mining, however I'm unsure of how safe it is, even at L1. My constitution is fairly low, so is there a possibility that I'll be oneshot by a cave in? Also, how much constitution would I need to completely negate the risk of dying from mining, and should all this be done on an alt, just to be safe? Someone also told me that if you mine in a zig-zag this removes the risk of a cave in - is this true?

from what i saw zigzag does eliminate the risk of cave-ins, or at least much lower it. However metal nodes usually dont come in zigzag :)
