Stake Claim missing from Adventure menu

No. I was having some bad luck finding rabbits in my area, so I asked around if anyone had some extra. Also, all the skeletons we had found wouldn't let me get any bones from them, so I guess they were already raided. Do we have to get the bones ourselves?

you can't get bones from human corpses, 1) people would farm alts and the devs said they didn't want players farming alts to sacrifice to "unspeakable gods" which makes a cellar 'o' corpses near useless

Oh. I didn't realize that. I misread the Wiki again.
So, does anyone have any tips on how to find rabbits? There don't seem to be an in my area.

walk around forest or grassland. you might see chickens on grassland also.

I finally caught me a rabbit and claimed me some land. Now I'm about to ask a n00b question: how do you expand it? I've right-clicked on the claim and pulled up that menu, and I can click and drag the box to make some squares green, but I can't do anything to make it expand that land.
EDIT: Nevermind. Turns out that that was just because of Ender's client.
