Quality and spare strength is irrelevant. A q1 stone axe will act the same as a q9001 stone axe.
Stone Axe = 1 Damage, Pickaxe = 2 Damage, Sledgehammer = 4 Damage
sqrt (str) = Damage
So 25 Strength + Stone Axe = 5 + 1 = 6
Having 35 Strength would be the same as having 25 Strength in this case.

so you are saying once I have 25 strength I can do that with only 4 stamina bars? good, because I have some food supplies for changing the personal beliefs to barbarism and hitting that shit a few times, but if I have to use up 50 flasks or so, I will starve
