Not so feasible to really compare two crops with different usage and say which is better and that itself is subjected to personal opinions as well. Carrot are great for perception food crafts while beetroots is lacking in the craft field, has the advantage of having higher fodder yield (3 beet roots, 3 beet leaves) and having a fast growth rate that is somewhat close to carrots.

To ninja_yodeler. I assume you have enough carrot tiles for better redundancy chance of having a growth so it may be bad luck or something went wrong somewhere.

The leaves are useful in some variety foods (if anyone bothers crafting them because of the variety of ingredients). I myself like the chicken and stinging salads. I like feeding them to my chickens, otherwise.

9 tiles for raising q replanting, 18 tiles for using the crops yield.

Are you suggesting that I just need to plant more to get a better chance of the q raise?

Not sure if worth ruining the neat image of my crop plots :? :)

9 tiles is enough, statistically, to get as much of a q raise per harvest that you would with a larger crop.

I find beetroot to be better, I'm not particularly worried about how much of the fodder is filled as I can always plant another plot of beetroot, and Its much easier to raise beetroot q which is good for the chickens as I change there fodder fairly often to accommodate for the rising q of crops. Pumkins take to long to grow :|

Chicken salad is awesome. Carrot cakes are meh, better to use the butter for apple pies and make lamb sausage for pure per (not that chicken salad isn't good enough per food to begin with).

This thread makes me happy.

I particularly like beetroot's color scheme. Carrots are fun to eat while at the hermit stage.
